King Usagi is an ancient rabbit deity kaiju from MechaGfantis Backfires. He is owned by Dojo Studios.
Appearance
King Usagi has the appearance of a shogun/samurai with red, gold, and black armor. He typically wears what appears to be a bandanna, a mask, and a hat. When his mask and hat are taken off, his true rabbit like appearance is shown. His head is larger, and he has grey-brown fur. His ears are very large, and he has big blue eyes. His forehead sports a crown.
History
Pre-Gfantis
King Usagi was a deity that used to protect the feudal Japanese in times of war and presumably kaiju attacks. After a time of peace, he was sealed dormant.
MechaGfantis Backfires!
King Usagi first appeared when a women summons him to do combat with MechaGfantis when he rampages around Doom Island. After a quick skirmish, MechaGfantis proves he is more powerful then King Usagi and knocks his hat off, revealing his true appearance. Shortly after, Gfantis appears and aids Usagi in his fight, soon locking MechaGfantis in place and allowing King Usagi to decapitate him. The two are then cheered on by a crowd of children.

- Hammer - King Usagi carries with him a hammer with a blade on the back which is capable of cutting through MechaGfantis. His hammer can also be charged with energy, making it stronger.
